10/2 Tsukuba Digital-Bio International Center held a session in TGSW2024.

TGSW2024 (Tsukuba Gobal Science Week) was held from September 31 to October 4 at the University of Tsukuba University Hall.

On October 2, 2024, our center (2-1) also held a session at the International Conference Room, University Hall, University of Tsukuba.
This session introduced the research of the University of Tsukuba’s “Cyber Medicine Research Center,” which was established in April under the theme of the future of medicine brought about by digital, AI, and data science, as well as the initiatives of the “Tsukuba International Center for Digital Biotechnology,”and invited researchers from National Taiwan University and Oxford University to participate in the session.
The session was followed by a discussion on medical research using data science at home and abroad.

We had 78 participants (40 in person and 38 online).

Through this session, the Tsukuba Digital-Bio International Center will strengthen domestic and international partnerships and promote a new fusion of medicine and data science.

We will continue to promote cutting-edge research by strengthening international collaboration based on the partnership between the national laboratories participating in the center and the University of Tsukuba,with the aim of realizing a society that supports the wellbeing of all generations.
