Oxford Stem Cell Institute Symposium 2023 was held jointly by OSCI and the University of Tsukuba.

12/4-5, 2023 “Oxford Stem Cell Institute Symposium 2023″ was held.
The OSCI Symposium is an international event that brings together scientists and clinicians engaged
in stem cell research across diverse fields of translational medicine.
The symposium’s theme is “Stem Cells: From Mechanism to Therapy”,
and it was jointly organized by OSCI and the University of Tsukuba.

From Master’s/Doctoral Program in Life Science Innovation, University of Tsukuba, Professor Isoda,
Professor Nakajima, Assistant Professor Farhana, two MD students, a master’s student (cardiology),
Dr. Kida (AIST) and two PhD students participated, for a total of nine people.

There was a presentation by Prof. Francis Szele (Department of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics)
regarding the collaborative research between Professor Hiroko Isoda’s laboratory,
the leader of Research and Development Proposal 5 at this center, and Oxford.
